How to let AI help with the week's planning

1. Write freely, get a finished calendar event
Instead of clicking through a form — date, start time, end time, attendees — just type "Football with Liam on Tuesday 5–6.30pm" straight into the calendar. The AI turns the text into a date, time and who it's for. You see the suggestion and confirm or adjust it before it's saved, just like normal.
This is especially useful when several events need to go in at once, for example after a parent evening where a whole term's dates are read out. Less risk of anything clashing or being forgotten when the bar to enter it is low.
2. Ask "what can I cook tonight?"
Do you panic every afternoon around four? Ask the AI for a suggestion for tonight specifically. If there's something in the pantry that fits, it's prioritised, so food that's about to expire gets used first — but an empty pantry still gives good suggestions, it's never a requirement.
3. Let AI suggest the whole week's meal plan at once
For anyone who sits down for a bit on Sundays to plan anyway: let the AI drop in a suggestion for all seven days at once, adjusted for how many you are in the family. Then you edit or swap individual days just as usual, and the shopping list builds from the finished meal plan.
It removes the hardest step — the blank page — and leaves the easy one: polishing a finished draft.
4. Get the budget summarised in plain words
